From literature to theatre, vices to virtues familiarize the spot of the cities, have knowledge in fashion, arts, external and internal current events add more words to your vocabulary, learn tagalog language and its accent, emanate adaptability nor flexibility demeanor, and correct pronunciation is a must.
I've observed a lot of moros have problems in pronunciation. Indeed, when i was a freshman at FEU, my classmates, even board mates had laughed at me always. It's because of mispronouncing words,commonly names.
Beware... it's likely to give up and return home as of hardness or temporary discouragement like culture shock which is really shocking heavy traffic that gives spin ned-head, and a week of unstoppable rain that causes floods about affect interest to attend classes. Just be patient, sooner or later everything will be ok. all the times enjoy the art of learning.
Furthermore, where to find a place to stay? It's highly recommended to stay along the university belt or sampaloc,manila. It's the safest place i've known for years now. People around are students, reviewers,and office workers, mostly with good intentions.
